Not really sure on how to “boat safe?” Not to worry, most that I know don’t really think of it as more than a common comment that’s made as they are leaving the pier… but you could look it up on the web; I guess that is where BoatSafe.com comes in. The site is a nice little resource for some quick information on the in’s and out’s of how to enjoy boating in a safe manner. Do you know what “pounds of buoyancy” means on a life jacket? Nor did I, but this website has the answer. Check it out for a few more tid-bits on safety related info for you next boating trip. Oh, and boat safe!
Do you have a site or tip you would like to share for this weeks Safe Boating/ Wear It campaign… or anytime? Leave it in the comments or use the contact page above.
