On Facebook? Show support for family/friends of CG-1705

The changes seemed to have started early yesterday or late the day before… either way I followed suite. There’s a current movement for folks who are on Facebook who wish to show their/our support for the family and friends of the crew of the Coast Guard C-130 that was lost last week (CG-1705) by changing our/your profile picture to the Air Station Sacramento patch (right). As of now I’ve seen quite a few people change their photos one of which would be ADM Allen. As he and a few others have noted it’s simply a move to

to memorialize those lost and show our solidarity as we all grieve together. I’ll keep this profile picture up until after the memorial service on Friday and encourage others to do the same.
