The Raspberry Pi is an excellent little computer/tool you can do so much with it. Whether you’re using the Zero/Zero W or an older large number model, you’ve got options.
I haven’t gotten into any AI work or general robotics, but I have used it to build media servers, wireless print servers, a Pi-Hole (easily the best use for a zero if not using it to create a robot), and of course a web server (running this site! see, it works!!!).
Over the next few days, I’ll be posting my how-to on building a multi-site web server that can handle the nominal amount of traffic (with caching on). The best part is, other than the cost of the domain name and the $35 (or less) cost of the Pi; it’s cheap! The way I look at it: I bought the Pi for something else, and I already had the name; thus it’s kinda’ free?
At any rate, these posts will get you running if you follow them in the order I’ve written them. I note it later, but the RPi can be a very fickle machine when adding apps for a specific purpose.
If you run into trouble, let me know. I’ll help the best I can. Star with PART I.
